The agreement still needs to be ratified by the Israeli cabinet and the Knesset before it enters into force. The agreement will be the first such agreement between the Jewish state and an Arab country. It should be noted that even Israel`s closest ally, the United States, has so far refused to sign a visa waiver agreement with the Jewish state. Holders of a UN-issued service pass can pass without a visa. On Sunday, the United Arab Emirates finally put order in an agreement with Israel that exempts tourists from both countries from the visa requirement during a visit to the other country. The visa waiver agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates means that citizens of both countries can enter each other`s countries without first having to suffer the anger over the visa application. “The cabinet ratified a number of agreements between the government of the UAE and a number of friendly countries, including the ratification of the agreement between the UAE and the State of Israel regarding mutual exemption from entry visa requirements,” UAE`s state news agency WAM said in a statement. On 24 June 2016, Kiribati signed a reciprocal visa waiver agreement with Schengen countries.  Citizens of the following 73 countries and territories can enter Kiribati without a visa.
