ART ON ELM 2018 / April 6-7, 2018

Art on Elm is a free pop-up art exhibition on historic Elm Avenue featuring local ARTISTS, MUSICIANS, CRAFT & FOOD VENDORS and CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES.

The weekend begins on Friday night, April 6, with a colorful preview party, Splash on the Color! and opening of the juried artist exhibition (tickets here). On Saturday, April 7, anticipate an abundance of art, handcrafted goods, great music and a smorgasbord of food. Art on Elm is held at 418 Elm Avenue at ArtPlace and from Dallas Street to Sherman Street in historic East Waco.

Come to admire the art; stay to enjoy the rest!

 

 

 

 

MUSIC LINE-UP

10:30 – 11:30 – Brazos Brothers – Brazos Brothers play music from the 70s up to the current hits. They do some Sinatra, Willie, Frampton, Bob Seger, Ed Sheeran, and much more. You won’t want to miss this!

12:00 – 1:00 PM – Navy Band – For a taste of music that is sure to entertain any audience, look no further than Navy Band Southwest’s 32nd Street Brass Band. This group routinely performs a wide variety of occasions, including military ceremonies, receptions, educational clinics, and holiday events! Get ready for an afternoon of New Orleans-style tunes!

1:30 – 2:00 PM – Tea Aguilar – Tea Aguilar is a musician/ band/ beat maker/ graphic artist / thinker, etc. He brings alternate and soul sounds and visuals that live on an abstract edge.

2:30 – 4:30 PM – Change of Pace – Change of Pace is a 5-piece event/variety band based out of Waco Texas. The members of Change of Pace were selected from several local bands to bring a new vibe to the music in Central Texas.

 

THE FLAVORS OF ART ON ELM

  • The Boardwalk on Elm – Old-fashioned hamburgers and delicious baby back ribs!
  • Rufi’s Cocina – Authentic Mexican cuisine and ESPECIALLY tasty tacos!
  • Arts Fest Hot Dogs & Nachos – Hot dogs and nachos with a creative arts fest flair! 😉
